St Neots and Peterborough Counselling

I am a practicing counsellor, based in St.Neots, Cambridgeshire.

I also offer appointments in Peterborough.

I am qualified to Advanced Diploma level and accredited by the National Counselling Society. Since qualifying I have continued to extend my professional development in many areas, including drug and alcohol misuse, adult intimate relationships, anger management, conflict management, cognitive behavioural therapy, transactional analysis therapy, bereavement, loss, sexuality and cognitive analytical therapy. I have also received specialist training for counselling children and adolescents. I also hold a qualification in Psychology.

I have a bank of qualified counsellors to assist in offering Employer Assistance sessions to enable appointments to be offered quickly.

I work alongside and manage volunteers counsellors (either in their final year of training where a training placement is required, or qualified counsellors working towards accreditation or offering their services free of charge), to work with individuals who are unable to access other services. All counsellors are required to be enhanced CRB checked, hold their own professional liability insurance and attend regular professional supervision.

I have vast experience working with individuals, couples, families, groups and other professionals in areas of supervision and training as well as counselling. As a member of The National Counselling Society and The CCC I abide by their code of ethics and practices and their complaints procedure.
