How I Can Help

Counselling and therapy can help many different people in a vast amount of situations. It’s a safe and effective place for you to talk about your feelings and start to make positive changes to get the most out of your life and your relationships, or simply make better sense of your situation.

It’s important for you to find the right kind of therapy for you and/or your family. It may take a few sessions for you to feel completely comfortable and able to trust and speak openly about your worries, but once we begin to explore your problem without judgement or well-meaning advice, you’ll quickly feel more able to make decisions which will help you live in a healthy and better manner. The more you understand, the more you will be able to move forward and take back control of your life.

Counselling and psychotherapy sessions are normally 50 minutes every week. Some people may only need a few sessions; others may need long-term therapy to resolve deep-rooted issues. An initial consultation can help you decide if I am the right therapist for you.

Sessions can be done in person, on the phone, or via Skype.

Another option I offer is groupwork. These two-hour sessions are designed for groups of individuals in a similar situation who can benefit from each other. I am currently running weekly groups in Anger Management, Bereavement, Self-Esteem, Anxiety, Sexual Abuse and Confidence.
